My Personal Goals December 2010
My personal goals in life change from time to time. What I wanted to have and own or happen in my life at a younger age is not always so important to me now. Many things I strived for in the past I still want today.
Pet Ownership; I own my cat and share 2 dogs with my family, but I strive to own eccentric exotic designer pets. I would like a miniature mare or filly horse and an F1 to F4th generation Savannah cat or Bengal cat that is a house cat bred with a wild cat! The Savannah cat is bred with an African wild cat. The Bengal cat is bred with an Asian wild cat. Miniature horses come in the small size as big as a large dog. They act like regular horses and eat like regular horses. They have the same needs as regular horses they just need less space to live in. You can't ride them, but I don't care I think they are adorable pets! They do need company and other horses or pets around to make friends with. The types of dogs I like are Huskies, Shar Pei's, Great Pyrenees, and Malamutes. This is the order I would start based on a budget when I have my start on a teachers salary. 1st a female mare or filly miniature horse. Maybe 2 if I can afford it, so they have a friend as company. 2nd a designer A1 Savannah or A1 or A2 Bengal probably both male cats. 3rd a Shar Pei male dog. 4th boy or girl Husky. 5th would be a playful breed female dog like a Great Pyrenees, Malamute or Finnish Spitz mix.
Having a wife and kids. This is a tough one. I would have to have a reliable steady girlfiend to get the wife. The woman I choose, I want it to be a smart choice that lasts! I want to be in love and loved back! I want her regardless of any human imperfections, quirks, and flaws to be nuturing, loving, romantic, kind, wise, dependable, and trustworthy. I want her to look nice and what I find appealing or sexy in my eyes. I want her to have a point of view, interests, goals, hobbies, personality, and a sense of humor! I want her to be a good listener and enjoy talking. The kids I know I want but I am on the fence if I want to adopt kids or have my own kids. I think I want to adopt baby boys or girls who are in good health probably black or asian babies. If I adopt I want my children to respect and admire me and my wife and themselves even if they have to overcome any obstacles against all odds to remain strong. I have seen a few white men who trash talk the family who adopted them and consider the mother who gave him up the real parent. Forget that! This is why it is not smart from my point of view to adopt white kids especially boys if you are white yourself. I can't cheer on rude hurtful disloyalty "dissing" to those who loved you and raised you in a family in exchange to find your unknown "real parents" who didn't do any of the work. I will most likely adopt children who are not white so they know when they look in the mirror how much I will have worked to raise them and provide for them! Where the fact that they are adopted is obvious and out in the open, and they can then get used to it moving on to being a part of the family and living their life! I guess my wife will probably have to work part time at something to help supplement my income as a teacher. I would plan to get my pets first, then the wife, and then the kids if it works out and I can afford all three things! I do plan on having kids but if I need to be 5 years already married and teaching maybe things would be less shaky and unstable financially or time consuming with trying to take care of a new wife and new pets. I also want to own the house with the proper zoning laws and room for a miniature horse. I would also like a good condition minivan to transport artwork, the mini horse and pets around and the kids.
I hope to finish my teaching credential program and graduate smoothly. I hope to go on to teach art drawing and ceramics at a good high school in Los Angeles or at the LOS ANGELES HIGH SCHOOL FOR THE ARTS on the Cal State LA Campus.
